Central Junior High School 1908

Central School 1908

On the site of the former Franklin School, a structure of brick and stone was erected and was known as Central School.   The cornerstone was laid in April 1907 and in January 1908 it was completed at a cost of $60,000.  In the year 1917 on December 11, it was destroyed by fire.
