honor of Mingo Junction's 200th anniversary in 1970, various government
officials sent letters to Mingo Junction residents congratulating
them on their anniversary.
This first letter is from the President of
the United States, Richard Milhous Nixon.
Nixon had defeated Hubert Humphrey in the 1968 Presidential election.
The second letter is from the Governor of
Ohio, James Rhodes.
The third letter is from United States House
of Representative, Wayne L. Hayes.
